Remote Audit

This utility can either be scheduled to run a remotely (as silent audit with no user interaction), or linked to a User Dialog to perform a PC audit.

The scheduled Remote Audit periodically checks for flagged PCs being online on the client network. If online, it remotely executes the audit agent to silently captures details from the PC directly into the DMS. This mode is typically used when the client AD infrastructure does not support login event logging, and separate method is needed to find PCs associated users.

The audit agent can also be invoked by the User Dialog utilities combining communication, user dialog, and an automatic PC audit. This mode is typically used as a part of the Registration step, and may also identify a user's PCs where the client AD infrastructure does not support login event logging.

Data fields captured include:

Serial Number
Hardware model
RAM
CPU
Installed applications

The audit data combined with the AD extracted data provides a comprehensive Asset Inventory which can be used for planning or scheduling deployment projects, or performing integrity checks and/or updates to existing inventory systems.
