AD Extractor

To baseline any asset list, it is important to know what computers are expected to be out there.  By interrogating Active Directory, our utility can capture all important information including:

Computer Name
OS (and Service Pack)
Username
Email address
Created date
Last seen date

This utility is typically scheduled to run each night on the DMS server.

Depending on client infrastructure the utility also extracts User and PC login events to associate User to PC. Used in conjunction with the Responsible User Dialog this maintains the relationship between User and PC that is not normally available from AD.
